Educate the Congo Project inc. has a goal to bridge the gap between the rich and poor by building a self-sufficient school system. We are so thankful for St. Hilary Parish, St. Vincent Parish and Queen of Heaven Parish for their help in bringing hope to the hopeless.
We have established the family farm co-op outreach program to sponsor families through livestock production and sustainable agriculture. They are going to grow food, process, package and market the finish product themselves to help sustain the school, and the community Sponsors will receive a picture of the family and progress report.
We know that you care about ending poverty and restoring hope to the poor. We want you to have the opportunity to participate in a very important program that has the potential for a wide spread impact. Please contribute whatever you can. Your gift will not only be an investment in the spirit of these people, but also in all the lives they touch.
How you can help? Buy books in their language, sewing machines, fabric for uniforms, computers; sponsor a workshop and equipment or a family farm co-op; help build a classroom or ship container; donate your unwanted hand and power tools; sponsor a vocational student; sponsor a grain mill.
With these items we can train local entrepreneurs who will sustain the school and the community.
